Margery Engel Loeb, Secretary
Margery Engel Loeb is president of Loeb & Associates, LLC, a consulting firm for families in business. She holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and has 35 years of experience working with families and businesses including twenty five years as a family therapist. Margery and her research partners have completed a study on retirement issues from the perspective of CEOs of family-owned businesses. Loeb’s articles and quotes have appeared in national publications and she appears regularly in the “Ask the Expert” column for Family Business Magazine. Loeb is active in progressive politics including being a founding member of Crossroads Progressive Women and a 2004 Delegate to the Democratic National Convention. She is currently precinct chair and is on the board of directors of Women Donors Network (WDN). She is on the steering committee of a joint project with the Communication Consortium Media Center (CCMC) and WDN on Reproductive Health and other issues. She participates on several other WDN projects including the Progressive Infrastructure and Leadership Circle. Loeb is involved locally in her community, Victoria, Texas, serving on the advisory boards of the Victoria Public Library and the Mid-Coast Family Services.
