Deborah Drysdale, Vice Chair
Deborah Drysdale, PhD recently "retired" from her 30 year private practice as a family therapist, clinical consultant, and teacher in San Francisco.
Committed to working for social justice on a deep and strategic level, she has rekindled her 60's civil rights, anti-war, and feminist efforts and "come out" as a donor activist. Her special interests are in movement building, racial justice, women and GLBT issues and, most recently, use of social media, networks, and technology for progressive social change.
Deborah currently serves as Vice-chair of the Board of Women Donors Network and participates in several collaborative funding efforts including WDN Action Fund 1 and 2, the Race, Gender, and Human Rights Donor Circle, and Gulf South Allied Funders. She supports numerous other organizations, such as the Global Fund for Women, Family Violence Prevention Fund, Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice, and independent filmmakers.
