Board Member

Lisa Farmer (she/her) is the Principal and Founder of LMF Advisors, a political and non-profit advisory firm that provides strategy consulting and fundraising services. Over the last two decades, Lisa has advised numerous candidates for elected office at the municipal, state, and national levels, Boards of Directors, Founders, Executive Directors, social justice non-profit teams, and volunteers on how to define and attain their world-changing goals through philanthropy and activism. Currently, Lisa serves on the Board of Directors of Emerge America as Vice Chair of the Board as well as the Development Committee Chair; she is a Trustee at the Katherine Delmar Burke School; a member of the Emergent Fund Advisory Council and Electing Women Bay Area; and also serves as Chair of the Board for SMART, an education access non-profit. Lisa joined the WDN in 2019 and is a member of the Board of Directors for WDN and our c4 WDN Action. Lisa grew up in NYC and graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Women’s Studies. She lived and worked in Boston until relocating to San Francisco in 2011, where she now lives with her family. In their spare time, Lisa’s family travels often, eats everything, and enjoys playing outside with their favorite humans.
