Nirvana Felix (she/her)

Community Engagement Manager

Nirvana Felix (she/her) is the proud daughter of Filipino and Cambodian immigrants, a community organizer, and a caretaker. As Community Engagement Manager, she builds and nurtures the WDN community and leads programs that help members strengthen their donor activism. Prior to WDN, Nirvana worked in college access and readiness, managing development and communications at a nonprofit that empowers students of color to persist to and through college.

As a system-impacted person, Nirvana dreams of building a world rooted in justice and accountability, not harm and punishment. She organizes at the intersection of criminal injustice and immigration, providing resources to incarcerated people, supporting reentry initiatives, and fighting deportations — all in service of keeping families and communities united.

Nirvana is a first-generation college graduate from the University of California, Berkeley where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in social welfare. A San Jose native (#408!), Nirvana loves to bury her nose in a book, find gems at thrift stores, and visit national parks across the country.
