Senior Program Manager and Policy Counsel
Aysha Pamukcu serves as Senior Program Manager and Policy Counsel at the Women Donors Network. She joins WDN with expertise in policy and systems change, working in coalition, and building the capacity of community leaders. Through her experience as a first-generation American, Aysha brings her full self to this work and uses her law background to accelerate justice movements.
Aysha draws from her interdisciplinary background in health justice, civil rights, and human rights. Before joining WDN, she worked as Health Equity Lead and Senior Attorney at ChangeLab Solutions, where she developed legal innovations to eliminate unjust health disparities. Through research and technical assistance, she helped leaders across the country address the root causes of poor health, especially for the most underserved communities. Aysha was recognized for this work as one of the de Beaumont Foundation’s “40 under 40 in Public Health.”
She previously served as policy counsel at the Greenlining Institute, where she worked with a diverse coalition to build wealth in communities of color through community investment, policy, and advocacy. Aysha is also a human rights advocate who has volunteered as an asylum attorney and assisted judges at the Cambodian war crimes tribunal.
Aysha is currently a Center for Community Investment Fulcrum Fellow and serves on the board of Baby-Friendly USA. She graduated from Stanford University with honors and from USC Law School. Outside of work, Aysha is writing a novel about immigration and belonging in the United States.
