Brandi Nicole Johnson (she/her) is thrilled to return to the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors as the Vice President of People & Culture at Women Donors Network. Before accepting this opportunity, Brandi was the Global Head of Learning and Development at DoorDash and she spent three years helping DoorDash IPO and building DoorDash University from scratch. Prior to joining the technology sector in 2018, Brandi climbed the ultimate career ladder in the nonprofit sector. She went from Intern to Executive Director in less than a decade and all before the age of 30. Brandi has spent most of her career at the Center for Creative Leadership, a globally ranked, internationally known provider of leadership development, research, and executive education.

Brandi is a Lifetime Member of Girl Scouts and was the first person of color who led StartingBloc’s Board of Directors. In 2005, Brandi was awarded the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest honor in Girl Scouting. Over the last 28 years, by either appointment or election, Brandi has served Girl Scouts in more than 10 leadership roles at global, national and local levels of the organization.

In 2016, the Triad Business Journal named Brandi one of the Top 40 Leaders Under 40 and she was profiled by Action Greensboro’s Made in Greensboro Campaign. In July 2018, the American Association of University Women awarded Brandi a Career Development Grant to complete graduate study. Brandi has a Master of Science Degree in Management and Leadership and two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Communication Studies.
