Joané Booth (she/her)

People & Culture Manager

Joané joins Women Donors Network as People & Culture Manager. She plays a key role in the implementation of WDN’s people strategy and management of people systems, operations and employee engagement while also cultivating the development of an inclusive and effective workplace culture. 

Joané is a strategic planner and systems development leader with a decade-long commitment to social justice, policy, and organizing. During the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic, Joané served as a Partnerships Manager with the Michigan League of Conservation Voters where she expanded the organization’s reach, navigating outreach challenges with innovative virtual events. 

While living in Minnesota, Joané reshaped policies as the Diversity & Inclusion Outreach Director for the Office of United States Senator Tina Smith, Senior Policy Advisor to former MN Governor Mark Dayton and Legislative Assistant to President of the Minnesota Senate, Bobby Joe Champion. 

Joané has worked on multiple national and local campaigns where she mobilized key constituencies and executed high-profile events during her time as Minnesota Political Director for Hillary for America and Tina Smith For Minnesota.

Joané has been recognized as a Humphrey Public Policy Fellow and a 40 under 40 awardee with the Twin Cities Business Journal. She now lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and three toddlers including identical twin girls!
