Linda Mason (she/her) worked for more than 20 years in healthcare. She has a Bachelor’s in Nursing and a Master’s in Health Administration. Linda’s last job in healthcare was a merger of two primary care clinic networks in anticipation of a “healthcare for all” plan in Washington state. A plan similar to the Affordable Care Act.

Linda’s philanthropy started after a trip to northern Thailand in 2002. She met with groups on the Burma border and was struck by how little she knew about oppressive governments and human rights abuses. It was a learning experience that shaped her philanthropy for the next 10 years.

Linda joined WDN in 2012 through the Women Building a Just Peace Circle. Her first trip with WDN on the Hill took her totally out of her comfort zone. Now she wants to go back every year. What Linda loves most about WDN is the opportunity for collective giving with a group of powerful women that invest their money, energy, and expertise to advance systemic change. She learns something new every day.

Linda lived most of her life in the Pacific Northwest but recently moved to Park City, Utah with her husband John and their dog Pancho. She loves everything outdoors including skiing and snowshoeing in the winter and hiking and golf in the summer.
