WDN Explores Landscape of Women’s Engagement
Over the last two years, as we have seen the rights and respect of women erode dramatically before our eyes, the Women Donors Network has been exploring the history and the current state of women’s activism for progressive change.
We have a large and long-term goal in mind, which is to ignite a broad base of women (and the men in their lives) – across race, class and generation – to be informed and inspired to take strategic collective action on the issues that matter to them and their families, toward creating a democracy and a society that works for all.
As a network, we are beginning to think about what strategies might make sense for us to engage in, as the country’s largest community of progressive women donors, that would make a significant impact.
In a new summary, WDN is sharing some of what we’ve learned in our process thus far, in the hopes that it may be useful to others.
