Board Member

Kim Rubey currently advises organizations focused on women’s empowerment and gender equity. Most recently, Kim was the global head of social impact and philanthropy at Airbnb, where she led the company’s work to utilize the power of the Airbnb community and the resources of the company to positively impact communities around the world. When she first started at Airbnb, she ran global communications and helped shape and strengthen the Airbnb brand. Prior to Airbnb, she held senior communications roles at Yahoo! and eBay and worked on several Democratic campaigns.

Kim serves on the board of directors for WDN and StoryCorps and previously served on the advisory board for Georgetown University’s Institute of Politics and Public Service. She is also on the Steering Committee of Electing Women Bay Area.
