Maggie Kulyk (she/they)

Ex-Officio Chair

Maggie Kulyk (she/they) uses her 20 years’ experience as Founder and CEO of Chicory Wealth, an independent, fee-only financial life planning and sustainable wealth management firm, and her background in theological studies to help individuals, families, and organizations articulate and act on the intersection of money and meaning in their lives.

After working in her family’s manufacturing business in Pennsylvania, Maggie pursued theology and spirituality at Emory University. She received a Master’s in Divinity from Emory’s Candler School of Theology in 1996, then finished ABD from the Graduate School of Religion at Emory in 2001. In 2002, with a vision of integrating spirituality and money, she began her wealth advisory firm.

Maggie joined WDN in 2010 to be part of a community of women who share her vision of a just and sustainable world. Maggie allocates almost all her giving through WDN because she sees the power of supporting transformative funding that is nimble and, most importantly, intersectional.

Maggie shares her life with her partner of nearly 25 years, Wendy Farley, Director of Christian Spirituality at San Francisco Theological Seminary. Together they have four grown children, one grandchild, and Teddy, their beloved dog. They make their home in various places including San Anselmo, CA, Atlanta, GA, and Orcas Island, WA.
