Nancy Westcott (she/her)

Treasurer

Nancy Westcott (she/her) joined WDN in 2014, became the Immigration Circle Co-Chair the same year, and now serves on the Opportunity & Equality Impact Collective Steering Committee. She credits WDN for introducing her to the inspiring world of progressive philanthropy following her corporate career.

Nancy worked for more than 30 years in the medical device and healthcare services industry, with ever-increasing responsibilities in finance and administration. From large companies to venture-backed start-ups, she raised millions of dollars in the private and public markets, managed foreign exchange and international treasury affairs, oversaw pension assets and 401(k) administration, and led corporate communications and investor relations. Retiring from her most recent Chief Financial Officer position, she has dedicated her time and energy as a volunteer. Nancy chaired the Alzheimer’s Association’s Northern California & Northern Nevada Chapter Board, chaired the chapter’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, and is active on several Alzheimer’s fundraising committees. She served as a Board member and Treasurer of Bay Nature Institute for 10 years and has had numerous alumnae leadership roles in the Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity.

Nancy earned her BA from the University of Idaho and her MBA from the Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management. She lives with her husband Bart in Palo Alto, CA, and enjoys ballroom dancing, cycling, hiking, and travel. They are proud parents of two daughters and six grandsons, all of whom live in Minnesota…ergo, some of the travel!
